Philippe Rigollet

I have been a Freshman advisor since my first day at Princeton in 2008. I am an assistant professor in the department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering, where, as the name does not say, I do research on statistics and machine learning. I teach ORF 245, which is the largest statistics course on campus and if you're a BSE student, chances are, you'll take it. I regularly have lunch in the Rocky dining hall so feel free to join me if you have questions about statistics or just want to chat about ORFE.
I received my Ph.D. from University Paris 6 and moved to the US in 2007. I now live in Philly and I'm happy to share the best spots for a cheesesteak and other Philadelphia delicacies.
