Hi everyone! I'm a Junior from Salt Lake City, Utah. I initially came to Princeton intent on studying translation, linguistics, and the Middle East and concentrating in a social science. After taking a literature-based freshman seminar on a whim, I happily switched to the humanities and oscillated between FIT (French and Italian) and Comp. Lit before declaring English. Academically, I'm interested in poetry, architecture, law, visual studies, and issues of race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality. Non-academically, I'm a huge fan of food, cats, bad (WONDERFUL) reality television, and frequent naps. On campus I'm a writing center fellow, tour guide at the art museum, LGBT center peer educator, coordinator for Community Action, research assistant for Professors in English and Sociology, and have been involved with the radio station (WPRB 103.3 FM). This summer I'll be writing in China and doing research on the Castro and Chinatown in SF. Feel free to message me with any questions about courses, creative writing at Princeton, America's Next Top Model, Iron Chef, (un)comfortable chairs to nap in at the library, Zumba at Dillon, eating clubs (I'm an independent living in Spelman) or anything else you're interested in!
