Hey guys! My name is Cynthia and I'm a senior in the Geosciences Department. I'm also pursuing a certificate in Environmental Studies. My current research interests include the effects of Amazon deforestation on global and South American climate as well as the impacts of wetlands on nutrient runoff. As for extracurricular activities, I am the Secretary of the Princeton Undergraduate Geosciences Society (PUGS), a new student organization two friends and I founded last fall. I am also the Props Master and Deck Manager of the Triangle Club's tech crew (if you've never seen a Triangle show, I definitely recommend going to see the Frosh show in September or Fall show in November). For the past two years, I have also been a member of the Outdoor Action Frosh Trip Command Center and worked to organize the logistics of sending over 1,000 people to camp in the wilderness.
