Raised in Canarsie, Brooklyn, I am a graduate student in English. For undergrad I studied at SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry and at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. My research explores modernist literature's depictions of various forms of attention, from distraction to fascination. I teach a Writing Seminar on love at the Princeton Writing Program. My other interests include marine life, outer space, and the foraging habits of bees.. My folks tell me I wanted to be a baker.
