I grew up in Minnesota but my family is now based out of the Finger Lake region in upstate New York. I went to Cornell (Go Red!) for undergraduate and after a week as a chemical engineer I transferred to Arts and Sciences and double majored in government and chemistry. I am now getting a PhD in International Relations with a focus on conflict especially the effects of peacekeeping and the role of gender. To keep myself well-rounded I bartend at the DBar, volunteer with the fire department, and play tuba in the Princeton University Band. I'm also obsessed with soccer and am always on the look out for opportunities to play.
