University Cost Savings

Like other colleges and universities, Princeton is significantly affected by the turmoil gripping the world economy and all of us within the University community are working diligently to sustain its core priorities through these challenging times. The Financial Context section of this website provides an update on Endowment Spending, Guidelines for Cost Savings, and FAQs. We will continue to post the suggestions we receive in Your Comments, and offer some insight into the Savings Strategies already being implemented or under consideration. Lastly, we strongly encourage all managers to review the Manager Toolkit for potential cost savings opportunities.

We know many of you have questions about the overall finances of the University, the budget cuts being implemented, and what the future holds for Princeton and its employees.
