SCI 2012-13 Dell laptops use the Windows 7 Ultimate operating system. Any re-imaging by the OIT Solutions Center will also use the Windows 7 operating system and continue to do so until 2013-14. Students may upgrade their SCI laptops to Windows 8 at their discretion. OIT currently offers best effort Windows 8 support until March 2013. Beginning in early March OIT will offer full support for WIndows 8.
