Institutional Purchases
Institutional purchases are software purchases that are intended for use on a computer owned by Princeton University and/or for work that is University-related. Institutional purchases are charged to project grants only. The software is, in all cases, owned by Princeton University regardless of whether the software is installed on a Princeton-owned computer or a personal computer. See Terms and Conditions.

Personal Purchases
A personal software purchase is for computers that are owned by Princeton University faculty, staff, or students. Personal purchases are made by MasterCard/VISA, check, cash, or student account. The software is owned by the individual purchaser.
