Alberto Moreiras is Sixth Century Professor of Modern Thought and Hispanic Studies at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. He is the author of Interpretacion y diferencia, Tercer espacio: Duelo y literatura en America Latina, The Exhaustion of Difference: The Politics of Latin American Cultural Studies, and Linea de sombra: El no sujeto de lo politico. He has co-edited Pensar en/la posdictadura with Nelly Richard. Piel de lobo. Morfologia de la razon imperial is forthcoming in 2010. He is a founding editor of the Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies.
