Your First Lecture
Do not miss the first lecture. Even if you don't show up again until the final exam (really not recommended, I should add), make sure you show up the first day. The professor hands out the syllabus, tells you what books you need to buy and where to buy the packet, introduces the preceptors and assigns the precepts. Purgatory at Princeton is a 9 a.m. Friday precept, and if you miss the first lecture, that's exactly the one you'll be assigned to.
