Intramurals
Princeton runs one of the country's more impressive intramural sports programs. The numbers alone are staggering. During the course of the year, nearly 300 teams compete in over 1,200 contests. If you want to play during your first two years, you can compete for your residential college teams in practically every sport you can imagine. Winning teams receive T-shirts, and the residential colleges, the eating clubs and the Graduate College (the grad student residence) compete for the overall title. Some sports are more competitive than others, but the overall goal is to have fun.
