No car? No problem!
The 605 bus, which stops by the Dinky and in front of the Palmer Square kiosk, can take you to MarketFair, Nassau Park Boulevard and Quaker Bridge Mall in 20 minutes flat, and the fare is $1.35 each way. Pick up bus schedules at the Princeton Public Library or check out New Jersey Transit.
If you’re not used to public transportation, taxi cabs can take you anywhere you need to go. Many line up in front of FitzRandolph Gate or by the Dinky Station. Warning: these cabs are unmetered and tend to be exorbitantly priced. If a cabbie tries to charge you over $20 to go to one of the shopping centers on Route 1, try to strike a bargain or move on.
