Fall Information

OIT now offers a unified messaging service called Tiger Voice and is available for all students. All incoming freshmen students will receive a notification in their University email in late August with instructions on how to use the service.  Tiger Voice provides you with your own unique telephone number, unifies your voicemail and email, and is a great way for you to stay connected with other students and faculty. Your Tiger Voice number begins with 609-673-XXXX; the last four digits are unique to you and will remain with you for the duration of your stay at Princeton University. Every dormitory room has an active jack for emergency and local calls.  For telephone instructions please click here. Students are required to provide their own phone.

Your Unified Messaging Tiger Voice number will:

·    forward all voice mail to your email inbox

·    allow you to forward incoming calls to your mobile phone

·    appear in the online student directory

·    help you stay connected with other students and faculty while keeping your cell phone number private

For directory information, please view the online directory or call the main university phone number at (609) 258-3000.

*We highly recommend all students program the speed dial feature on their cell phones with (609) 258-3333 for emergency purposes. This is our Public Safety office and is the quickest way to get emergency assistance.

If you have questions about Tiger Voice, email UMVmail@princeton.edu or call Telephone Support at 258-HELP (4357), option 4.
