Summer 2011 SECN Intensive Training Internship - APPLICATION

  1. Please go to the Office of Sustainability website here to learn more about the details and requirements of the program
     
  2. If you close the application before completing it, your entries will not be saved.  Please be prepared to complete the application, including uploading all documents, at one time.
     
  3. After you've submitted your application, you will receive an email confirmation that we have received it.

A personal statement, no more than one single-spaced page in length.

A one-page resume
 that includes a clear outline of your education, work history, public service experience (on and off campus) and relevant skills.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

Please write a one page single-spaced personal statement (longer statements will not be accepted). Please address, among others of your choice, the following points and questions:

  • Why you want to spend the summer learning how to communicate issues of sustainability
  • Why you are interested in working with local community partners to tell sustainability stories
  • Why you are interested in working with the Office of Sustainability and helping enhance the civic engagement element of the Princeton Sustainability Plan
  • How your academic studies, work and personal experiences have prepared you for this internship
  • If you were to make 3 short videos today on the topic of sustainability, what topics would you chose and why?
  • How do you envision yourself working in small audio and video production teams?
