Princeton Leads in Local Food Purchases Among the Ivy's
In the Princeton Review's Guide to 286 Green Colleges, 2009-2010, Princeton University emerges as a national leader in supporting local food with 60% of its purchases produced within a 200 mile radius of campus. Among Ivy League schools Princeton leads by a significant margin, even over programs famous for their sustainable food programs.
