"The Future of Energy"

Dr. Peter Evans, GE Energy's Director of Global Strategy and Planning, will speak on "The Future of Energy" on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 4:00 PM in Computer Science Room 104. A reception will precede the event at 3:30 PM. Dr. Evans will give a brief overview of GE Energy and discuss three key trends that will shape the future of the energy industry: unconventional gas deposits, the energy-water nexus, and the penetration of digital technologies into energy markets. He will also share some of the uncertainties surrounding each trend, and include examples of how GE is positioning itself to respond.
