Chazen Professor of International Business Director Center for Research On Environmental Decisions Director Center for the Decision Sciences Columbia University "The Psychology of Green Action and Behavior Change” Abstract We make a large number of environmentally-relevant decisions, from transportation to eating choices, or about the adoption of technology that provides greater energy efficiency. In many instances we fail to select options that are either dominating alternatives or in our personal or social long-term interest.
