Solid Waste/Recycling:

Kind of paper that Princeton uses in all standard printing and copying:
100% post-consumer waste recycled, chlorine-free paper

Items included in Princeton's 50% recycling goal:
Cans, bottles, paper, and cardboard

Other items included in Princeton's recycling program:
Batteries, toner cartridges and cell phones

Cleaning products used:
The two primary products used are green seal certified.  Two automatic floor cleaners utilize "blue cleaning" technology

Dining:

All soaps used are:
100% green seal certified

Paper goods used at Frist Campus Center and outdoor catered events:
Have been replaced with sustainable products, including PLA corn-based plastic cups and 100% post consumer recycled paper plates

Purchasing:

Successful recycling programs instituted:
Dorm furniture, construction materials, surplus and salvage of University furniture and equipment for reuse by University departments
