Michael McKay welcomed everyone to the meeting. Introductions were made. The following items were discussed:
1. Report on the Campus Sustainability Plan
Shana Weber reported the "Plan for Environmental Stewardship at Princeton University" was presented to the Board of Trustees on January 25, 2008. The three priority goals reviewed and discussed:
- Greenhouse Gas Reduction
- Resource Conservation
- Research, Education and Civic Engagement
2. PSC Administration of High Meadows Foundation Funds
The PSC will establish an ad hoc committee to administer the High Meadows Foundation Funds for fiscal year 2008. The formal process and structure of managing the fun is in development. Requests, proposals and ideas from students and faculty should be submitted to the PSC.
3. Other Business
Katy Andersen announced that the Spring Farmers' Market will be held every Tuesday April 8-May 20, 11am-3pm in Firestone Plaza. The spring market will include seafood, flowers, cheese, fruits and other fare. Katy also named the two new student leaders for the spring market, Emma Hare '10 and Stephanie Hill '10.
The meeting adjourned. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26th.
