Technology Training Space
There are two bright and spacious computer training rooms at 701 Carnegie. Each room has
- 12 computer workstations
- a conference table in the center of the room for brainstorming sessions or laptop workspace
- windows that let in lots of light, but can be covered to reduce any possible glare on computer screens
- state-of-the-art projections systems, and lots of whiteboard space
- one room is MAC-OS capable; both rooms are PC/Windows capable
Larger classes, and training sessions may be held in one of three Multipurpose rooms. These rooms are separated by retracting walls, and two or all three of these rooms can be combined for larger events. Each room is equipped with audio and video capability, laptop projection, a podium and whiteboard space. There is sufficient electrical to accommodate laptops if needed.
Just outside the training rooms, there's a lobby area where students can mingle during breaks, or sit and have their coffee. Café 701, serving breakfast, lunch and snacks, is just down the hall.
