Hot Spots

Mobile Technology Loaner Services is pleased to offer the Mobile Hotspot Loaner Program as a mobile solution to faculty and staff traveling on University business.  A number of hotspots are available for reservation through the Mobile Hotspot Loaner program.

Coverage in the U.S. and Internationally
No charge for domestic use. International is charged at $25/100mb. All overages exceeding $25 will be paid for by the user or department.
Maximum loan period
30 days.
Verizon and AT&T (Domestic Only)
4G LTE devices available
Can be used without power
About an 8 hour battery life

Program Policies
Mobile Hotspots must be returned to the Tech Clinic, Frist Campus Center, Room 112, no later than 9:30 a.m. on the specified return date (cards may be reassigned to another faculty or staff member later that day).  If you are unable to return the device on the scheduled time and date, please notify the Help Desk as soon as possible. Upon return of the data card, the card will be inspected to ensure that it is in working condition. Any damages to the card will result in charges to your department. A late fee of $5/day may be charged if a mobile hotspot is not returned on the designated return date.

Reserving a Mobile Hotspot
To reserve a Mobile Hotspot, please complete the Mobile Reservation Form. Mobile Hotspots are loaned out on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will be notified within one business day whether a mobile hotspot is available for the period you requested.
