Polycom Conference Sets
Using the Conference Loaner Program, you can reserve a Polycom SoundStation conference set.
The conference set unit comes equipped with a base unit, two extension speakers, transformer unit, short and long telephone cable, and a user guide.
To reserve a conference set for a room use this link: Conference Phone Request Form. Confirmation is sent when the reservation request is processed. During the request process, you may choose to have the conference set delivered, or you may pickup the set from the OIT Solutions Center Room 113 Frist Campus Center. Please note for customers requesting Hardware Support to deliver and setup the conference set. If the location has an existing phone connection, you will be billed for one hour of Hardware Support time, currently $86.00.
Prior to your conference date, review the set-up instructions on the OIT Telephone Services website. If after reviewing the set-up instructions you still have questions, contact the OIT SOC Help Desk at 258-HELP and someone will assist you.
To ensure that the conference set you receive is in good condition, all sets are inspected upon return. Any conference set returned to our office damaged or missing equipment will be charged to your department.
PolyCom's must be returned to the Solutions Center Room 113 Frist Campus Center, no later than 9:30 a.m. on the specified return date (phones may be reassigned to another faculty or staff member later that day). If you are unable to return the device on the scheduled time and date, please notify the Help Desk as soon as possible. Upon return of the phone, an inventory will be conducted to ensure all equipment has been returned and is in working condition. Any damages to the phone or missing items will result in charges to your department. If missing item(s) are found and returned within seven days, your department will then be credited for the amount charged. A late fee of $5/day may be charged if a phone is not returned on the designated return date.
