Administrative Telephone Services and Support

OIT Telephone Services provides University administrative telephone service to all faculty and staff and includes campus, local, and long distance calling services, as well as voice mail service. Members of the University faculty and staff arrange for telephone service through their home department's telephone coordinator.

Faculty and staff can choose from multi-line, hands-free, and display telephone sets. Other telephone services that are available are:

  • three-way calling
  • speed call
  • intercom

Mobile Technology Services and Support

OIT Mobile Technology Services provides support to departments in all areas of mobile technology. Services include:

  • Administration and support the University's corporate mobile program.
  • Consultation for the selection of mobile devices and cost-effective service plans.
  • Training and support for the management of online accounts with major wireless vendors. 

Conference Calling Services and Support

Telephone Services offers conferencing services to the University community. The services offered include the conference set loaner program, the meet-me conferencing service, and conferencing capability from the single-line and multi-line telephone sets.


Unified Messaging

The University offers Unified Messaging  service to the faculty and staff.  Microsoft Unified Messaging (UM) offers great flexibility. It brings together your voice mail, email, and calendaring functions, and makes messages and appointments from these services accessible from both your phone and email inbox.
