iPhone/Android Loaner Program

Mobile Technology Services offers iPhones and Androids for short-term loan by faculty and staff traveling on University business. The iPhone/Android Loaner Program includes devices with either domestic or international coverage. Program details are as follows:

Cost

iPhone: $18.75/week (prorated)

-includes data and domestic calls.

-All incoming and outgoing text messages will be charged to the customer.  $0.20 per message.  

Android: $18.75/week (prorated)

-includes data, texting and domestic calls.


 

iPhone: $18.75/week (prorated) and the cost for calls and texting based on usage and country.  For International calling rates, See links below:  AT&T ( Please use the Standard International Roaming rate table).

Program policies
Phones must be returned to Mobile Technology Services, Frist Campus Center, Room 111, no later than 9:30 a.m. on the specified return date (phones may be reassigned to another faculty or staff member later that day). If you are unable to return the device on the scheduled time and date, please notify the telephone office as soon as possible. Upon return of the phone, an inventory will be conducted to ensure all equipment has been returned and is in working condition. Any damages to the phone or missing items will result in charges to your department. If missing item(s) are found and returned within seven days, your department will then be credited for the amount charged. A late fee of $5/day may be charged if a phone is not returned on the designated return date. 

Reserving a device
To reserve a cellular phone, complete the Mobile Reservation Form. Phones are loaned out on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will be notified within one business day whether a phone is available for the period you requested.
