Single-Line Telephone Set Features
Call Forwarding
The Call Forwarding feature temporarily forwards your incoming calls to another extension.
To Activate:
- Lift handset for dial tone.
- Dial call forward activation code *76. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial number to which calls are to be forwarded. Listen for confirmation tone.
- Hang up.
To Cancel:
- Lift handset for dial tone.
- Dial call forward deactivation code #76. Listen for confirmation code.
- Hang up.
Call Transfer
The Call Transfer feature sends a call to another extension.
To Activate:
- Depress switchhook once firmly. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial number to which you are transferring the call. Listen for ringing.
- Announce the call or hang up.
Conference Call
The Conference Call feature makes possible conference calls from your phone with up to five lines, including your own.
To Activate:
Lift handset. Listen for dial tone.
- Dial conference call access code *72. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial conferee's telephone number. Listen for ringing. When conferee answers and agrees to join the call:
- Depress switchhook once firmly. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial conference call access code *72. You and the conferee are in conference.
To Add Additional Conferees:
- Depress switchhhook once momentarily. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial conferee's number. Listen for ringing. When conferee answers and agrees to join the call:
- Depress switchhook once firmly. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial conference call access code *72. All conferees hear a tone as new conferee is added to the call.
To Release a Called Party Who Does Not Want to Join Conference OR To Release a Busy Station:
- Depress switchhook once firmly. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial conference call release code *73. Listen for special dial tone. Party is disconnected.
- Dial conference call access code *72 to be reconnected to the conference.
Last Number Redial
The Last Number Redial feature automatically calls the last number dialed when the special code is entered.
To Activate:
- Lift the handset. Listen for dial tone.
- Dial the last number redial code # #. Listen for ringing.
Permanent Hold
The Permanent Hold feature lets you put a call on hold then hang up.
To Activate:
- Depress switchhook once momentarily. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial hold access code *75. Listen for confirmation tone.
- Hang up (phone will ring periodically as a reminder that a call is being held.)
To Retrieve Held Call:
Lift handset.
Ring Again
The Ring Again feature notifies you when the a busy line becomes free and redials the call for you automatically.
To Activate: (when you hear a busy tone)
- Depress switchhhook once firmly. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial ring again access code *74. Listen for confirmation tone.
- Hang Up.
Speed Calling
The Speed Calling feature lets you use a one- or two- digit code to dial frequently called numbers.
To Program:
- Lift handset. Listen for dial tone.
- Dial programming short code *80 or long code *81. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial code to which number is to be stored.
- Dial the number to be stored. (Include access code (9) if number is outside your system.)
- Depress #. Listen for confirmation tone.
- Hang up.
To Activate:
- Lift handset. Listen for dial tone.
- Depress *.
- Dial entry code assigned to number you want to call. Listen for ringing.
To Change:
- You are able to program a new number over an existing number. Follow instructions above for “To Program.”
To Delete:
- Lift handset. Listen for dial tone.
- Dial programming short code *80 or long code *81. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial code to which number is to be stored.
- Depress #. Listen for confirmation tone.
- Hang up.
Three Way Conference
feature allows you to add a third person to your call.
To Activate:
- Depress switchhook once firmly to place original call on hold. Listen for special dial tone.
- Dial third person's number. Listen for ringing.
- When person answers, depress switchhook once firmly. All three persons are connected.
