Jewish Thought and Enduring Human Questions

Summer Seminar 2012, July 22 - August 8
Applications for 2012 are now closed.
Each summer, The Tikvah Project on Jewish Thought sponsors a Summer Program at Princeton University for exceptional students from diverse universities around the world. Students convene in Princeton to study Jewish texts, Jewish thought, and Jewish perspectives on the great questions of human life.
Seminar leaders Leora Batnitzky, Director of the Tikvah Project at Princeton, Allan Arkush (State University of New York), and Alan Mittleman (Binghamton) are joined by a world class roster of faculty who lecture and lead discussions on topics such as Hope and Redemption, Love and Death, Justice and Injustice, Law and Authority, and God and Politics.
Students also have opportunities to engage in both formal and informal conversations with faculty and to hear debates and lectures about contemporary issues relevant to the Jewish future.
The Tikvah Fund is a proud supporter of the Tikvah Project at Princeton and other Tikvah Centers across North America. To learn more about the Tikvah Fund and its other projects, please see the links below.
