Benjamin Boyd, Dominican University
Benjamin Boyd is a recent graduate of Dominican University, a very small monastic college in Ottawa, Canada, where he majored in Philosophy and minored in Theology. Originally from Phoenix, Benjamin did not go to high school, which afforded him the opportunity to live, work and study all over the planet. He flew airplanes with M.A.F. in Africa, worked as a Nanny in Tokyo and New York, and studied social justice theory in India, just to name a few. Benjamin will be attending Boston College in the fall for his Masters of Divinity, although his primary academic interests at this time are philosophy of religion and Jewish thought. He will be attending Middlebury this summer where he hopes to learn enough Hebrew to be fully integrated at the Shabbos table with his Jewish family members.
