TigerTransit/Shuttle Services
Princeton University’s new TigerTransit transportation system operates on a fixed route schedule, providing safe, convenient and reliable transportation throughout the Princeton campus and surrounding community.
The TigerTransit transportation system offers stops at academic and administrative buildings; faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate student housing; Nassau Street; and the Forrestal Campus and Princeton Plasma Physics Lab.
To support the Sustainability and Campus Plans, the TigerTransit fleet is low-floor, fully accessible, run on B20 biodiesel fuel and have bike racks. For more information on the new TigerTransit fleet, click here.
TigerTransit buses are equipped with web-based Global Positioning Systems (GPS) that can track buses in real-time (TigerTracker). Riders will be able to track the location of any TigerTransit bus on any route online or by cell phone.
Other TigerTransit services include stops with shelters, connections to NJ Transit and Princeton Borough FreeB shuttle, service to local shopping centers, an on-demand service and extended hours. Multi-line TigerTransit stops provide transfers from one line to another.

Nassau Park Boulevard Line Bus 1: | Timetable
Service dates: 6/9; 6/16; 6/30; 7/7; 7/14; 7/28; 8/4; 8/11; 8/25; 9/8; 9/15
Bus 1 of the Nassau Park Boulevard Line provides service from Butler and Lawrence apartment complexes to shopping outlets within Nassau Park Boulevard with stops at the Wegmans shelters, Walmart shelters and Trader Joe’s.
Nassau Park Boulevard Line Bus 2: | Timetable
Service dates: 6/9; 6/16; 6/30; 7/7; 7/14; 7/28; 8/4; 8/11; 8/25; 9/8; 9/15
Bus 2 of the Nassau Park Boulevard Line provides service from Stanworth Apartments, Princeton Station and the Graduate College to shopping outlets within Nassau Park Boulevard with stops at the Wegmans shelters, Walmart shelters and now Trader Joe’s.
Nassau & Harrison Line | Timetable
Service dates: 6/23; 7/21; 8/8; 9/22
The monthly Nassau and Harrison Line will provide Saturday service from graduate housing locations to various shops and restaurants along Nassau and Harrison Streets. Service hours will be from 3 pm to 8:30 pm and the bus will make stops at graduate housing locations, Princeton Station, Palmer Square, Blue Point Grill, Whole Earth Center and the Princeton Shopping Center. This line will run in place of the Nassau Park Boulevard Line on the dates provided.
Summer Connection (Summer Schedules begin May 29, 2012)


Summer Connection | Monday–Friday, 8 am–12 am | Summer Timetable
The summer connection provides service to many University academic facilities as well as connections to faculty, staff, and graduate housing complexes. Stops include:
Bus 1 (Butler to Stanworth): Butler Apts, Lot 21, South Campus, Woodrow Wilson, 201 Nassau, Friend Center, Fisher Hall, Frist/Guyot, South Campus, Lawrence Apts, Helm, Princeton Station, Grad College, Stanworth Apts.
Bus 2 (Stanworth to Graduate College): Stanworth Apts, Grad College, Lawrence Apts, Helm, South Campus, Woodrow Wilson, 201 Nassau, Friend Center, Fisher Hall, Frist/Guyot, South Campus, Lot 21, Butler Apts.
701 Carnegie Center Line

The 701 Carnegie Center Line travels 8 am–5 pm between the 701 Carnegie Center administrative offices and Firestone Library. Buses leave 701 on the hour and half hour (:00, :30). Leaves the Library on the fifteen and forty-five of the hour (:15, :45). Stops Include: 693 Alexander Rd., Bloomberg Arch, Goheen Walk, Dod Hall, Clio Hall, and Helm Building.
West Extension Line/West Line | Spring Timetable | Summer Timetable

The West Extension Line travels 7:30 am–7 pm from the Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS) Apartments to the Woodrow Wilson School. Stops Include: MarketFair, Princeton Station (Dinky), PTS Campus, Graduate College, University Place/Edwards Place, Palmer Square, Nassau/Tulane, 201 Nassau, Friend Center, and Fisher Hall. The Princeton Station and Palmer Square stops offer connections to NJ Transit and the Princeton Borough Free B shuttle.
The West Line 7 pm–10 pm travels from PTS Apartments to the Graduate College. Stops Include: MarketFair, Princeton Station, and PTS Campus. The Princeton Station stop offers connections to NJ Transit and the Princeton Borough Free B shuttle.
East Line | Spring Timetable / East Commuter Line | Spring Timetable / East Summer Commuter Line | Summer Timetable

The East Line travels 5 am–7 pm. Stops Include: Butler Apartments, Lot 21, South Campus, Frist/Guyot, Woodrow Wilson, 201 Nassau, Friend Center, and Fisher Hall. The South Campus and Friend Center stops provide transfers to the Tiger Lines. The 201 Nassau stop provides a connection to NJ Transit.
The East Commuter Line travels 8 am–10 am and includes all the stops of the East Line with the exception of Butler Apartments.
Tiger Line AM Express/Tiger Line | Spring Timetable

The Tiger Line AM Express travels 7 am–11:30 am with service between Lawrence Apartments and Friend Center. Stops Include: Hibben-Magie, South Campus, and Woodrow Wilson.
The Tiger Line travels 11:30 am–7 pm with service between Lawrence Apartments and the Friend Center during non-peak hours. Stops Include: Hibben-Magie, South Campus, Woodrow Wilson, Fisher Hall, and Frist/Guyot.
Campus Circulator | Spring Timetable

The Campus Circulator travels 7 pm–1 am and provides service to University academic facilities as well as connections to faculty, staff, graduate, and undergraduate housing complexes. Stops Include: Lawrence Apartments, Princeton Station, Graduate College, Stanworth Apartments, Palmer Square, 201 Nassau, Friend Center, Fisher Hall, Frist/Guyot, South Campus, Lot 21 (on request), Butler Apartments, Hibben-Magie. The Princeton Station and Palmer Square stops offer connections to NJ Transit and the Princeton Borough Free B shuttle.
Central Line

The Central Line travels 8 am–9 pm on Elm Drive between the West Garage and Firestone Library. Stops Include: Lot 16/23, Bloomberg Arch, Goheen Walk, Dod Hall, and Clio Hall.
Forrestal/PPPL Line | Spring Timetable | Summer Timetable

The Forrestal/PPPL Line travels 8 am–7 pm and provides daily service between the main campus and the Forrestal Campus and Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. Stops Include: PPPL, Forrestal AOS, Millstone Apartments, Dean Mathey, Fisher Hall, Frist/Guyot, South Campus, Lot 33, and Princeton Station. Princeton Station offers connections to NJ Transit and the Princeton Borough Free B shuttle. The South Campus stop provides transfers to the tiger Lines and east Lines.
On-demand Service | 7 Days a Week, 9 pm–3 am
On-demand Service to campus locations and to Princeton Junction train station after the last connecting train to campus is available during the academic year. For On-demand Service, call 609.258.RIDE (7433). The On-demand service is not available during the summer. |
