Turing's Princeton Dissertation
Alan Turing's Princeton Ph.D. thesis is probably one of the two most famous theses written at Princeton University (the other one being that by John Nash of A Beautiful Mind). Princeton University Press has published a facsimile of Turing's Princeton Ph.D. thesis along with essays by Andrew Appel and Solomon Feferman that explain its still-unfolding significance. Appel discusses the thesis in the video above.
Princeton University Press also has published a new American edition of Andrew Hodges' book Alan Turing: The Enigma. The book features an updated preface by Andrew Hodges.
George Dyson has written a history that centers on Turing and John von Neumann and the origins of the digital universe. Turing's Cathedral is published by Random House.
