Accreditation. Princeton University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. In addition, of the programs of study offered by the departments of chemical and biological engineering, civil and environmental engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, and operations research and financial engineering of the School of Engineering and Applied Science, the following are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org: aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. The Program in Teacher Preparation is accredited by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC).
