Optional Health Benefits – Vision And Dental Plans

What’s New: Cigna Dental Plan

All enrollment elections for the dental and vision plans must be submitted online through the University Health Services portal, MyUHS, at: www.princeton.edu/uhs/InsuranceElections. You must use your existing Net ID and password to enter the system. Once you submit your insurance election(s) through MyUHS, an email confirmation will be sent to your Princeton email address. Please retain this confirmation for your records.

The MyUHS portal will be opened for Undergrads on May 15, 2013 and for Grads on June 6, 2013. Online enrollments in these plans will close after August 9, 2013. Additional enrollments will not be accepted after that date!

2013-14 ANNUAL ENROLLMENT FEES DENTAL and VISION PLANS

Vision Fee:

$ 72 (Student Only)
$112 (Student & Spouse)
$114 (Student & Child(ren)
$184 (Student, Spouse & Child(ren))

Dental Fee:

$ 72 (Student Only)
$144 (Student + 1 Dependent)
$242 (Student + 2 Dependents or more)

Reminder: If you currently participate in one or both of the voluntary plans, and if you wish to remain on the plan(s) for the 2013-14 academic year, you must renew your enrollment online.

The MyUHS online enrollment portal will open May 15th for undergrads; June 6th for graduate students. Deadline for enrollment in the dental and vision plans is August 9, 2013.

DENTAL PLAN

The optional dental plan for 2013-14 is administered by Cigna. Coverage will begin on September 1, 2013. If you are currently enrolled with Healthplex/Eastern Dental, that coverage will end on August 31, 2013. Vision

VISION PLAN

The optional vision plan is administered by Vision Service Plan (VSP). For more information regarding plan provisions please click on the links under Vision or call 1-800-877-7195. You cannot enroll through the VSP website. Beginning September 1st you will be able to go to the VSP website to register to access the following features--
