Medical Transport Vehicle Rental Program
Students who have trouble ambulating due to an injury or another medical reason may rent an MTV upon referral from a UHS clinician. Students are responsible for rental fees during use. Students must complete a training program and sign a rental agreement. For more information about the MTV Rental Program, call (609) 258-3555.
On campus students who are ill or injured who need transportation to UHS can call the Department of Public Safety at (609) 258-3134 for assistance. Except in extreme medical emergencies, the Department of Public Safety does not provide transportation to off-campus hospitals or physician offices. When true emergencies arise, UHS arranges transportation with the Department of Public Safety. Routine medical transports are done by taxi if the student has no other means available.
