Physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are available at UHS to provide comprehensive primary care services on an appointment basis throughout the academic year and summer.
Evening Medical Appointments
Beginning in the fall of 2013, UHS outpatient medical services will extend its hours on Mondays and Wednesdays beyond 4:45 p.m., staying open until 7 p.m. for appointments. Students will need to schedule these appointments in advance because walk-in service will not be available. As always, urgent problems, such as acute injuries or acute fever, can be evaluated after hours by the infirmary nurse on the second floor of McCosh during the academic year.
Online self-scheduling will be available for students at www.princeton.edu/MyUHS. MyUHS is UHS' online health module, which serves as a student portal that can be accessed via the Internet. MyUHS offers Princeton students the ability to schedule appointments, complete insurance and pre-visit intake forms, and enter their own medical and immunization history — all from a dorm room or anywhere with online connectivity. In addition, secure messaging provides confidential communication between students and healthcare providers.
