Graduate College and Annexes
Storage Options and Drop Off Hours
A limited amount of dormitory storage space is available for enrolled students currently living at the Graduate Colleges or Annexes who will also be living at the Graduate College or Annexes in the fall. This space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. High security items and large items such as furniture and refrigerators may not be stored in these areas. Large items may be stored through the Moving and Storage Agency or through a public storage company. (see below).
Students Not Granted Storage
Storage is not available if you are taking a leave of absence, residing in another location next year,studying abroad, not enrolled for the coming academic year, or if for any reason you will not be living on campus during the following academic year. Students who are no longer enrolled must remove all items from storage. Items left in storage will be considered abandoned and discarded.
Campus Storage Drop Off Hours and Access Information
To access these storage areas please contact Building Services at (609) 258-3490. Staff from Building Services will be available to provide access to storage areas on the following dates and times, but you must call ahead:
- Monday- Friday, May 20 through May 24
9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- Saturday, May 25
9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Boxes may be no larger than two feet in any dimension. Please use sturdy boxes, tied with tape and mark all property with a magic marker listing name, year of study, address, and date stored. Do not store flammable liquids or other materials such as gasoline. chemicals and paint thinner. Loft lumber is not permitted in storage. High security items such as stereos, computers, TV's, and radios should be engraved with your name and PUID number. Engravers are available at Public Safety. There is only one high security storage area available. The University is not responsible for articles left in campus storage. Students must carry their own insurance.
If you are storing items in University storage, a label will be provided by Building Services. The stub number will be required for retrieval in the fall.
Moving and Storage Agency
The Princeton Student Agencies Moving and Storage Agency will pick up your items, store them, and deliver them to your dormitory in the fall. Bicycles may also be stored for a fee when brought to a drop off point. Details include sign-up dates and locations, pick-up dates, and official prices, insurance information, weight and size requirements and restrictions.
A number of public storage facilities are located near campus. Students must make their own arrangements for this service. The list provided is neither comprehensive nor totally inclusive of University contract vendors. The information provided is solely for the convenience of Princeton University students.
