CES is just one resource for recognized student organizations planning a conference or event on campus. (See University guidelines regarding eligibility criteria for students holding conferences and events on campus) Undergraduate and graduate student organizations must first register their conference or event with the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students or the Office of  Student Life, in the Graduate School respectively.

• Consultation to select and/or reserve an appropriate campus location for an event.
• Guidance in coordinating services with University departments to plan logistics. (equipment rental, catering, grounds, clean-up and setup, public safety, media and parking and shuttle services)
•  Wayfinding materials such as custom maps and signs for students to borrow and place on campus.
• Consultation to plan a successful conference registration.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of these additional resources when planning a student organized event or conference.
