How Can We Help?
Conference and Event Services offers assistance to academic and administrative departments planning a University Conference or Event. (See University guidelines regarding eligibility criteria for academic and administrative departments and programs holding conferences and events on campus)
We emphasize customer service for both large conferences comprising many components and smaller less logistically challenging events.
Large Academic Year Conferences and Events

Students arriving for Princeton Preview
We can be of greatest service when managing a logistically challenging conference or event which may include these components:
- A large number of attendees will be participating.
- Attendees may be arriving from various locations, staying in several hotels, and /or may need transportation to campus.
- Your conference will take place over several days and require several campus locations.
- Additional staff will be needed to support registration or assist with planning.
- Media or television coverage may be involved.
- Dignitaries, high level speakers may be participating.
What we offer:

Celebrate Princeton Invention 2011
- A dedicated CES staff member to partner with your department to plan and oversee your conference or event.
- Recommendations for locations on campus which best meet your needs and contact with appropriate parties to reserve the space.
- Registration services
- Conference materials
- Wayfinding materials (signage and custom maps)
- Coordination with University departments providing the services you need. (equipment rental, catering, grounds, clean-up and setup, public safety, media and parking and shuttle services)
Academic Year Meetings, Brown Bag Lunches, or Partial Day Conferences
Our assistance is primarily consultative for these smaller events or conferences with these components:
- Your expectation is that 10 to 30 participants will attend.
- Your conference or event will take place during part or all of one day and will be confined to one or two sites on campus.
What we offer:
- Recommendations for selecting the best location.
- Consultation to most effectively coordinate services with other University departments supporting your event.(equipment rental, catering, grounds, clean-up and setup services, media and parking and shuttle services)
- Wayfinding materials (signage and custom maps)
