Chef Valerie Erwin '79 Featured in 2012 Garden State Visiting Chef Series, March 26-28
The Garden State Series will return to Princeton University's residential dining halls March 26- March 28. The series, a Princeton Dining Services tradition since 1993, will feature Chef Valerie Erwin, '79, who owns and operates Geechee Girl Rice Cafe with her four sisters in Philadelphia.
The menu for this year's series is a re-creation of recipes lovingly created in Ms. Erwin's cafe and features a wonderful selection of traditional southern foods from Georgia and South Carolina's low country. This special dinner will be served in each residential dining hall during the series.
