Reusable container take-out program launches at Café Vivian on March 25
On Monday, March 25, a reusable container program will begin exclusively at Café Vivian. To participate, customers can purchase a $5 wooden token, which is then exchanged for a BPA-free plastic reusable take-out container when food is ordered. When the containers are returned to Café Vivian, tokens are given back to use for the next take-out meal. Dining Services staff will wash and sanitize the containers – Participants do not need to clean the containers.
The reusable contain program is a collaboration with Greening Princeton and Dining Services. Students from Greening Dining will be available outside of Café Vivian between 11am to 2pm from March 25 to 29 to answer any questions. The first 25 people to sign-up for the program will receive a free token.
