Monday-Friday, Regular Business Hours

During regular business hours students can obtain a loaner card from the Housing & Real Estate Services Office, 5th Floor New South.

The loaner card will provide a one-hour window for the student to gain entry into his or her building and entry into his or her dorm room. He or she is required to sign out the loaner card with the understanding that misuse of the loaner card will be treated as a Rights, Rules, Responsibilities violation akin to misuse of the University TigerCard. There will be no charge if the loaner card is returned within 24 hours at one of the drop-off locations listed below. If the loaner card is not returned within 24 hours, a $75 non-returned card fee will apply.

If a student is unable to come to the Housing & Real Estate Services Office, he or she has an alternate choice to contact Public Safety at (609) 258-1000 to request re-entry. The student will be asked to specify the circumstances preventing him or her from obtaining a loaner card from the Housing & Real Estate Services Office. There will be a $30 service fee if Public Safety is dispatched to assist in gaining re-entry.

In the case of a lost TigerCard, see Lost TigerCard for more information.

After Business Hours Requests and Weekends

There will be no charge for students who return the loaner cards within 24 hours at one of the drop-off locations listed below. If the loaner card is not returned within 24 hours, a $75 non-returned card fee will apply.
