If you lose your TigerCard, report it to the TigerCard Office as soon as possible. Because your card allows building and dorm room access and has financial value, it is important to replace or suspend your TigerCard whenever lost.

Business Hours (Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm)

Stop by the TigerCard Office at A Floor, New South to get a new card or call (609) 258-8300 to suspend your card until you can come to the office to get your new card.

After Business Hours

Student requests for a replacement TigerCard should be submitted online at www.princeton.edu/tigercard/proxhelp.  

Once a request is submitted, students may visit the TigerCard Office, New South, A Level between 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, to pick up their replacement cards.  

If requests are submitted after 5 pm on Fridays or on weekends, students will now be able to pick up a replacement TigerCard during limited hours at the Frist Campus Center.  For students requesting and picking up cards during weekends, a representative from the Frist Campus Center will contact students when the card is ready for pickup.

There is a $15 charge for replacing your TigerCard. Once a card has been replaced your old card cannot be reactivated. 

Loaner Card

Students awaiting a replacement TigerCard after business hours can go to Public Safety (200 Elm Drive) to obtain a loaner card. Please note that in the event of critical campus situations, delays in the administering of a loaner card may occur.

The loaner card will grant the student building and dorm room access until:
10 am the following day, Monday–Friday
11 am on Saturday
5 pm on Sunday

There will be no charge if the loaner card is returned within 24 hours at one of the following drop-off locations. If the loaner card is not returned within 24 hours, a $75 non-returned card fee will apply.
