Rising Sophomores, Selecting Your Room During Your Draw

Login to Room Application Prior to Selection Time
On the day of your draw you (or your proxy) will be required to login to the Undergraduate Room Draw Program located on the Undergraduate Housing Web site. It is suggested that you login at least 15 minutes prior to your selection time. Early login will permit you and your group to view the Available Rooms and Last Selected Room List and plan accordingly.
View Available Rooms List
You (or your proxy) will be able to view an available rooms list indicating rooms still available for selection. This list is updated in real time and as rooms are selected they will disappear from the list.
Mixed Class Regulations
If you (or your proxy) are selecting a room as part of a Mixed Class Group mixed group regulations and upperclass limits will apply. Be sure to look at the "View Upperclass Limits-Four Year Colleges" about the number of upperclassmen allowed in your college. Remember when selecting your room at least one older member of the group must live in the suite with younger members.
Dropping Down
You (or your proxy) may elect to drop down to a later draw time and select at a later time if this strategy better suits your needs. You will need the group number of the group to which you are "dropping down." Group numbers are listed on the Undergraduate Room Draw Website.
Select Your Room in the Allotted Time
At your room selection time, you (or your proxy) will have between 3 and 18 minutes to make your room selection, depending if you are selecting as an individual or as a group.
Acceptance of Room Selection
You will be required to select a meal plan from a drop down menu after you have selected a room. If applying as a single individual, you will be instructed to accept the room once you have made your selection. If applying as a group you will be required to accept the room once the room has filled. Room acceptance by every member of your group must occur before you will be permitted to sign your contract. Once all members of the group have selected a meal plan and accepted the room, the Housing/Dining contract will be displayed. Print out the contract for your records. Check carefully to be certain that the room selection you are asked to accept is correct. Your acceptance is binding and can not be changed. Do not accept a room if it is not the selection you intended.
