The purpose of LEADS is to provide students with an opportunity to participate in experiential learning programs where they can not only gain valuable employment experience but also so they may develop new skills and further enhance previously learned skills that they can apply to both their professional and personal lives. These sessions are geared toward student staff, others are eligible to attend. LEADS programs focus on the following competencies:
You can sign up for a program and track your progress by logging into the Employee Learning Center. If attending outside sessions, via career services or other departments, you can receive credit by filling out the supplemental credit form. Evaluations of the programs are very important. You can submit an evaluation of the program by filling out the evaluation form. There will be special recognition for any student staff that completes 10 programs by graduation. |
