Outside Caterers: If food service is being provided from outside the University, the catering firm must provide evidence of insurance for the following insurance coverages:
Coverage shall be underwritten by a carrier licensed in New Jersey and rated at least "A-" in Best’s Key Rating Guide. Evidence of insurance, along with a current Food Service License and Inspection Placard , must be received in the Office of Risk Management AT LEAST THIRTY (30) DAYS PRIOR to the event or function. List of Approved Caterers: The following is a list of caterers who have complied with the University's insurance requirements to the date indicated. Please contact the Office of Risk Management if planning to use one of these beyond the date specified. Click here for a list of approved caterers (PU netid required).
For outside caterers not indicated in the table, refer to the guidelines for serving University events on-campus.
