Collection Use

Digital Collections

Digital images for lectures are available in Almagest and ARTstor.

Slide Circulation

The Visual Resources Collection still maintains its collection of slides. Slides circulate only for the time of presentation. Materials must be returned immediately after use. Users who fail to return slides within three days after presentation will be charged a replacement fee. Slides may be put on reserve five days before presentations.

Usage

Our collections of digital images, slides, and photographs are available for teaching, study and research by the Princeton University community. Images may be used for classroom presentations. Reproduction and publication (including on the web) are regulated by copyright law and license agreements. Please see Image Publication for more information.

Those with specific research needs can make an appointment to visit Visual Resources or Research Photographs by emailing visres@princeton.edu.

Training

Training in using the collections is available for individuals and/or groups. Contact Trudy Jacoby to schedule training sessions. Tutorials are also available.
