WDS launches "Your Path to Princeton"
Web Development Services (WDS) launches "Your Path to Princeton". This website is intended to ease the transition of the incoming class and serve as a central guide as they prepare to enter Princeton. The website features a timeline, list of resources, and informative blog entries on the topics of learning and living at Princeton. The site gives freshman the opportunity to interact with future classmates, and current students, as well as deans, directors of studies, and directors of student life.
"Your Path to Princeton" was created in conjunction with Claire Fowler, Senior Associate Dean of the College along with Alexis Andres, John Axcelson, John Green, Carla Hailey-Penn, and Rosemarie Maze – in addition to many other blog contributors from various departments on campus.
The website was built using the Drupal Content Management System and is hosted by The Office of Information Technology. The site uses a responsive design, which makes it comfortable to view on mobile devices and tablets. It was built and designed by Lee Lilly, Michael Muzzie, and Henry Umansky, of Web Development Services.
Additional features will be added to "Your Path to Princeton" when the incoming class receives their Princeton netIDs – sometime around May 21, 2012.
