Technology Support for the Class of 2015
Welcome to Princeton!
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides the central technology resources and support you will be using when you come to campus. These Technology on Campus pages introduce the resources, support, and programs that you may be interested in most immediately. Check back for new announcements and details as your arrival date approaches; these pages will be updated throughout the summer.
NetIDs mailed May 27
Your Princeton University network identifier (netID) was mailed May 27. This netID gives you access to Princeton University computing resources. Be sure to watch the mail for it.
If you're looking for a computer for the fall, you should consider the options offered by the University's Student Computer Initiative (SCI); the benefits of the SCI program are many. Program details for the 2011/12 academic year will be mailed to your home and made available online in June.
To talk to someone about OIT resources in the meantime, don't hesitate to contact the OIT Help Desk -- a support service available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To reach a Help Desk consultant, call (609) 258-HELP (4357), e-mail helpdesk@princeton.edu or use the online chat from the OIT home page.
Again, welcome.
