Faculty in Residence
Hannah Freed-Thall

hfreed@princeton.edu
I grew up in the woods of Vermont, did my doctoral work (in comparative literature) at UC-Berkeley, and am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Princeton Society of Fellows. I teach courses on modern French literature and theory, and lecture in the HUM sequence during the spring semester. When I’m not working on my book—a study of taste and disgust in 20th-century France—I enjoy cooking, playing music, and being outdoors. This is my second year at Princeton, but my first year as Faculty in Residence at Whitman. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
