MARTIN A. DALE '53 SUMMER AWARDS
Do you have an idea for a summer project to explore a new area of interest, live out a dream, or develop your creativity or leadership skills?
The Martin A. Dale ’53 Award gives Princeton sophomores up to $4000* to fund special, non-academic summer projects.
INFORMATION SESSION - This Wednesday, December 12, 6:00 PM on the Wu Private Dining Room
Past projects have included:
- Travel to India to learn yoga at an Ashram
- Designing an Asian-influenced wedding dress
- Following a Buddhist pilgrimage in Sri Lanka
- Travel to Italy to interact with the slow food movement
- Biking across the U.S.
Applications are available at the information session; after the session applications will be available in the Wilson College office.
The deadline for receipt of applications in the Wilson College office is Wednesday, February 13, 2011.
*Students receiving Princeton grant aid who win the award will also have their expected summer earnings replaced.
** Travel destinations should not be on the State Department’s Travel Advisory list.
