Silk Painting Workshop
Title: Silk Painting Workshop Wilson Art Studio 2/11 at 2pm
Silk painting is an art involving the use of dyes and resists to paint on silk. The resist, called "gutta," allows for the separation of different colors on the silk to create any pattern you would like, ranging from landscapes to portraits to abstracts. For those interested in learning the techniques of this art, the Wilson Art Studio is sponsoring a hands-on silk painting workshop on Saturday, February 11 in Wilcox 301 at 2:00 pm. Workshop leader, Simone Sasse class of 2014.
