Public Service Speaker Series
* Location: Wilcox Private Dining Room
* Dates: Thursdays Oct. 1st, Oct. 15th, Nov. 19th, Dec. 3rd
* Topics:
- Service Opportunities After Undergraduate(PeaceCorp, AmCorp)
- Foreign Service
- Education/Think Tank(Teach For America, KIPP)
- Environment and Climate Change
Wilson Service Day ( Saturday, Oct. 17th)
* City Year's 9th Annual Serve-A-Thon event in Philly
* Followed by free Twist for all volunteers
Wilson Week of Service(WoS)
* Time: first week after Fall Break (Nov. 8th-15th)
* Allow freshmen/sophomores to sample the SVC weekly projects
* Send consistent volunteers to SVC projects
Toy Drive
* Time: December
* Partner with local elementary schools, i.e. : Mercer's School
* Place a Christmas Tree with name tags
* Have kids party with the donors and exchange gifts
End of Year Donation/Clothing Drive
* Time: Intercession
* Help SVC's project
